Elijah Wood has stared in many movies, and he luckilly survived being a child actor. His choices have been varied and true to himself. Although, as we have to admit, the movies have'nt been the greatest. Each of them was a growing experience for Elijah and he regrets none of them. "I said 'Why'd you do Flipper? The script was terrible." says Knowles, "and he said, 'But you have to understand :I was going to get to spend three months swimming with dolphins.' Thant's why he took the role- he wanted to spend time with a dolphin."

Unlike his co-star Macaulay Culkin (the Good Son), Elijah will come through triuphant over hollywood. "It's important to stay away from all that bullshit and attention. Young Hollywood is in constant rotation. I simply want to carry on doing what I am doing for as long as I can, and I dont want to take advantage of a specific moment and burn out really quickly. Believe me, the world does not revolve around movies. Mine certainly doesn't."

He was never labled a child actor and will have the oppurtunity to expand his talents in more mature films. Now, at 20, he has compleated the Lord of the Rings, and his career could'nt be more promising. So, for always showing us his wonderful acting skills in every movie despite the fact they were flops, we can easially forgive him his childhood films. Now that LOTR is over though, I can't wait to see where adulthood will lead him.
